Azerbaijan breaches ceasefire in Artsakh, uses grenade launchers
Artsakh’s military authorities reported a fresh ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani forces on Friday.
“The Azerbaijani military violated the ceasefire in the eastern and southwestern sections of the contact line with, using small arms and RPG-7 grenade launchers,” the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
The Azerbaijani troops opened fire at a group of civilians working in the yard in the area of Nakhichevanik village, it said.
No casualties were reported. The command of the Russian peacekeeping troops was reported about the Azeri ceasefire violation.
“As of 10am April 1, the situation on the contact line is relatively stable,” the ministry said.
