Four Artsakh civilians stressed out following Azeri provocation, health authorities say
Four Artsakh women were stressed out following the Azerbaijani provocation on the blocked section of the Artsakh-Armenia road on Tuesday, Artsakh’s Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.
Azerbaijani government-backed "eco-activists" blocked the passage of vehicles of the Russian peacekeeping forces carrying civilians, including elderly, children and people with disabilities, from the Armenian town of Goris to Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh, despite a prior agreement.
Some of them broke into one of the cars. During the negotiations, the four civilians felt sick and three of them fainted. Accompanied by Russian peacekeepers, they were taken to the Republican Medical Center in Stepanakert. The others were forced to return to Goris, Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan said.
“The victims received all necessary medical care and were discharged from the hospital today,” the ministry said.
