Farmer in Artsakh comes under Azeri fire
The Azerbaijani military opened fire at a civilian in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in a fresh ceasefire violation on Wednesday afternoon, the authorities said.
Robert Beglaryan, a 48-year-old resident of the village of Khnapat in the Askeran region, came under Azerbaijani gunfire while carrying out agricultural work on his tractor in the village at around 4pm, the police said in a statement.
He escaped unhurt from the shooting, but the agricultural work had to be suspended.
The police said the Russian peacekeeping troops would be reported about the incident.
