'Nose job somewhat acceptable': Poll reveals what Armenians think about plastic surgery
The number of plastic surgeries, cosmetic and aesthetic procedures in Armenia has increased in recent years.
The reasons are various: from correcting facial and body imperfections to an irrepressible desire to follow trends. Panorama.am’s correspondent has tried to find out what Armenians, especially young people, think about plastic surgery.
According to many respondents, cosmetic surgeries should be performed if necessary, otherwise they distort facial features.
“It’s up to each person to decide. For me, for example, rhinoplasty is somewhat acceptable, but not lip surgery,” said one of the respondents.
