Authorities probing murder of ZCMC security guard
Armenia’s law enforcement authorities are investigating the killing of a 56-year-old man at the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) guard post in the Shgharshik community of southeastern Syunik Province.
The security guard was found dead with gunshot wounds near the ZCMC mobile cabin on Wednesday, the Investigative Committee said in a statement on Thursday.
A double-barreled shotgun, as well as other items of interest to the investigation have been found in the cabin.
A forensic examination of the body has been ordered.
The criminal probe is underway.
