Didactics of zero step by Tigran Abrahamyan
Anahit Voskanyan, panorama.am: Identifying problems in this difficult situation, political and military analysts still see certain solutions. I believe the reason for the failure to reach them is the absence of the first step.
What is happening now is a display of loyalty or whims by some individuals (depending on who is concerned). What is the feasible step that must be taken to reach the series of solutions offered by experts? This unnoticed step for me is the most important and difficult one.
MP Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the opposition Pativ Unem faction: Armenia’s security problems are first and foremost attributed to the incumbent authorities’ policies and decisions which are incompatible with the current security situation, and tasks are not prioritized from the beginning.
Hypothetically, after the settlement of domestic political issues, i.e. a change of power at some point, it would first of all be necessary to channel all available resources into the security system. Second, we should get our priorities straight in terms of areas and necessary measures. Moreover, the priorities should be from short- to long-term, because there are problems which require urgent solutions and they can be resolved quickly.
