Armenian soldiers wounded in Azeri attack recovering, minister says
The Armenian servicemen injured in last week’s border skirmishes are showing signs of improved health, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan told reporters in the parliament on Tuesday.
Four Armenian troops were killed and six others wounded in an Azerbaijani attack while carrying out engineering work near the village of Tegh on April 11. One of the wounded soldiers was in critical condition.
“Fortunately, the condition of the wounded soldiers is improving with each passing day,” the minister said, adding the critically-injured soldier’s condition has further stabilized.
“None of them is in life-threatening condition anymore. Three wounded soldiers remain in hospital,” Avanesyan noted.
