Head of Kocharyan’s office responds to Aliyev
Bagrat Mikoyan, the head of former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan’s office, has responded to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's latest remarks on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
In an interview on Tuesday, Aliyev called former Armenian leaders “separatists, who were chased out of Karabakh like dogs and brought to their knees.”
"Apparently, Aliyev Jr. cannot forget who they have lost to in the first Karabakh war. Under Kocharyan, Ilham acted like a puppy, but now he thinks he's a wolfhound,” Mikoyan said in a statement on Wednesday.
“He lost to President Kocharyan on all counts, and the history cannot be rewritten no matter how much he is getting on his high horse," he added.
