Armenian soldiers killed in latest Azeri attack awarded posthumously
The Armenian servicemen killed in last week’s border skirmishes were awarded posthumously.
Four Armenian troops were killed and six others wounded in an Azerbaijani attack while carrying out engineering work near the village of Tegh on April 11.
Major Mkrtich Harutyunyan was awarded the 1st Class Order of the Combat Cross, while Lieutenant Artur Sahakyan, Lieutenant Henrik Kocharyan and Junior Sergeant Narek Sargsyan were given Medals of Valor.
The orders were signed by the country’s president on April 13.
