Adjustment of positions near Armenia's Tegh village continues – Defense Ministry
Work to clarify the locations of Armenian and Azerbaijani positions near the village of Tegh in Syunik Province has not yet completed, the Armenian Defense Ministry told Sputnik Armenia on Thursday.
"Adjustment of positons in the area is underway,” it said.
The Defense Ministry refused to say how many kilometers of land in the area is under Azerbaijan’s control.
Earlier, the National Security Service (NSS) declined a request of Panorama.am to provide information on the matter.
Azerbaijani forces advanced up to 300 meters into Armenian territory at five sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border close to Tegh on March 30.
Four Armenian troops were killed and six others wounded in an Azerbaijani attack while carrying out engineering work near the village on April 11.
