Pashinyan, U.S. Minsk Group co-chair discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday received U.S. Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations and Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Louis Bono, the Armenian prime minister's office reported.
"The Prime Minister emphasized the efforts of the U.S. administration to ensure stability and security in the region and presented the approaches of the Armenian side to the settlement of the existing key issues. Nikol Pashinyan considered the aggressive policy and bellicose rhetoric towards the people of Nagorno Karabakh and the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia unacceptable," the office said in its readout.
"The interlocutors discussed issues related to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, formation of an international dialogue mechanism between Stepanakert and Baku, humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh resulted by Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor, normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and unblocking of regional transport infrastructures," it added.
