Armenian government OKs creation of Academic Campus Foundation
The Armenian government on Friday endorsed a decision to establish a foundation that will oversee and manage the construction of the Academic Campus, which is set to house all state-run universities of Armenia.
The Academic Campus will consist of three clusters – an art cluster, a technological cluster and a third cluster which may include educational, military, private and international universities, Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan told today’s cabinet meeting.
“The implementation of such a large-scale project requires the setup of an institution that will deal with the project lifecycle, from planning to the actual implementation process, and then also the management of the academic city," the minister said.
