French FM to visit Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia
French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna will travel to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia on April 26-28, her ministry reported.
The French diplomat is set to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan.
During her trips to Baku and Yerevan, the minister “will express France's commitment to supporting negotiations between the two countries to achieve a just and lasting peace respecting territorial integrity and international laws”, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
“She will also call for ensuring the rights of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh and immediately restoring movement along the Lachin Corridor,” reads the statement.
