U.S. ambassador visits Matenadaran
U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien has visited the Matenadaran, the well-known Museum and Institute of Ancient Manuscripts of Armenia, the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan reported on Wednesday.
"She was impressed by the amazing collection of ancient and unique manuscripts housed in the Institute and was equally impressed by the expertise and dedication of the researchers and restoration specialists to preserving for the world the historic scholarly and literary legacy of the Armenian people," the embassy said in a statement.
