Armenian, Azeri FMs to meet in Washington
The Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, are expected to meet in Washington, DC, Azerbaijani media reported on Saturday.
“The Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers are to hold talks in Washington,” the reports suggest.
The Foreign Ministry of Armenia said earlier Mirzoyan would start a working visit to Washington on April 30.
“The next round of discussions on the agreement on normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is scheduled,” the ministry added.
Deputy parliament speaker Ruben Rubinyan will also travel to Washington as part of the foreign minister’s delegation.
