Poll reveals what Armenians think about press freedom
A poll conducted by Panorama.am in Yerevan on Wednesday has revealed what Armenians think about freedom of the media in the country.
"People should have a free mind to express themselves freely," one of the poll participants said.
"Is there freedom of the press? In my opinion, the press is not free," another noted.
Many respondents believe that the press in Armenia is free.
"Yes, we have a free media. And I am very unhappy with this freedom, not everyone should be given freedom, because it has resulted in more lies, falsifications and provocations, which affects the people’s mental state and the upbringing of the young generation," a respondent told Panorama.am.
“Everything should have limits,” another said.
