Snow hits parts of Armenia
Drivers have been warned of closed road in Armenia on Wednesday morning.
In particular, the road linking the Amberd Fortress to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province remains closed, the Rescue Service said.
Traffic on the 7th km of the Getap-Martuni road is one-way due to the risk of collapse of the Yeghegis River bridge.
Snowfall has hit the Aparan and Aragats regions, Gyumri, the second largest city in Armenia, the towns of Artik, Maralik and Akhuryan village.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is open to all traffic.
