Protesters leave pig heads outside Armenian government
Parents of Armenian servicemen and volunteers killed in the 2020 Artsakh war, as well as public and political activists on Thursday held a protest outside the Armenian government in central Yerevan, demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation.
The protesters left pig heads near the entrance to the government building, throwing photos of Nikol Pashinyan, his spouse Anna Hakobyan, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev at them.
"This is what they do to Turks," political activist Zaruhi Postanjyan said.
"We have brought gifts to the authorities," the protesters said, chanting, “Homeland stealers!” and “Killers of Armenians!”.
"We will never forgive you [referring to Pashinyan]. Peace will be established when we kick you out of the government building," Postanjyan said.
