Pashinyan's government 'will have to pay for its crimes', says fallen soldier's father
Parents of Armenian servicemen and volunteers killed in the 2020 Artsakh war, as well as public and political activists on Thursday held a protest outside the Armenian government in central Yerevan, demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation.
They held posters featuring names of Armenian settlements in Artsakh occupied by Azerbaijani troops.
Writer Khachik Manukyan, the father of fallen soldier Vachagan Manukyan, accused Pashinyan's government of “serving the enemy’s interests”.
“We are going to to lose the country if we remain silent and indifferent to the ongoing processes, and consider it only a problem of the relatives of the fallen boys," he said, addressing protesters.
He rejected the Armenian leadership’s false peace agenda and accused them of a “fiasco and a disgraceful political defeat.”
“Even if only one Armenian is left behind, the current government will have to pay for its crimes which Armenia's history never saw before,” the man stated.
