Serzh Sargsyan pays tribute to fallen troops on Yerkrapah Day
A wreath was laid at the Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan on behalf of Armenia’s third President Serzh Sargsyan on Yerkrapah Day (Homeland Defender's Day), as well as on the day of liberation of Shushi and the end of the siege of Stepanakert marked on May 8, his office reported.
“The wreath was laid at the memorial which immortalizes the heroic deeds of those who gave their lives for freedom and independence of Fatherland,” it said in a statement.
“Eternal glory to the dedicated martyrs of the Fatherland! Gratitude to the warriors of freedom and independence!” the office added.
