EU continues engagement towards lasting peace in South Caucasus, Borrell says
The European Union continues engagement towards lasting peace and security in the South Caucasus, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Tuesday.
Borrell met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Brussels on Monday. The diplomat said in a tweet he welcomed the resumption of trilateral meetings between Armenia and Azerbaijan hosted by European Council President Charles Michel, discussed its outcomes and way forward, as well as exchanged views on EU-Azerbaijan relations.
“The EU continues engagement towards lasting peace and security in the South Caucasus,” Borrell said.
