Artsakh Security and Development Front movement launched in Stepanakert
The Artsakh Security and Development Front public movement has been launched in Stepanakert, Artsakh’s capital.
At a news conference on Thursday, Artsakh’s former State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, co-founder of the "We Are Our Mountains" regional development agency, said the members of the movement had put aside their personal and partisan interests and had united around a common goal.
"We will do everything we can to make sure Artsakh is safe, happy and independent. It’s of paramount importance to announce that we are all ready to do our best, go all the way and take responsibility," Vardanyan said.
He expressed hope that many people would join the initiative.
"Keeping Artsakh Armenian is a matter concerning not only the Artsakh people, but also all Armenians. I am sure that the activities of the front will extend beyond Artsakh. Summing up, I would like to highlight the potential of young people in this important cause," Vardanyan said.
