Tigran Sahakyan announces political comeback
Tigran Sahakyan, a former head of the Foreign Relations and Diaspora Department at the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science, has announced his return to politics after a five-year break.
In a statement on Friday, Sahakyan said he had joined the Country to Live party and elected to its Political Council.
“At this point, we are rigorously preparing for the Yerevan mayoral elections because we strongly believe that our victory in the elections will dramatically change the situation not only in Yerevan but also throughout the country," he said.
