Artsakh president to address nation
President Arayik Harutyunyan of the Artsakh Republic will deliver a message on internal and external issues today, his spokesperson Lusine Avanesyan confirmed to Artsakhpress.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's latest statement in which he reaffirmed his readiness to recognize Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) as part of Azerbaijan has caused great indignation and anger in Artsakh.
Speaking at a news conference on Monday, Pashinyan reiterated his government’s readiness to recognize “Azerbaijan's territorial integrity of 86,600 square kilometers” through a bilateral peace treaty, saying the area “includes Nagorno-Karabakh”.
The Artsakh parliament denounced Pashinyan's remarks in a statement unanimously adopted on Monday night.
