Armenian army positions come under Azeri fire
Azerbaijani troops opened fire on Armenian positions near the border village of Kutakan last night, Armenia’s Defense Ministry reported.
“On May 23, from 12:20 a.m. to 1:10 a.m., the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from different caliber small arms in the direction of the Armenian combat positions located near Kutakan,” the ministry said in a statement.
No casualties were reported among the Armenian military personnel.
“As of 8 a.m., the situation on the frontier is characterized by relative stability,” the statement said.
