Two Armenian gymnasts to compete at World Challenge Cup in Bulgaria
Two Armenian gymnasts will compete at the 2023 FIG World Challenge Cup event to be held in Varna, Bulgaria, on 25-28 May.
The Armenian gymnastics team led by coach Hayk Nazaryan includes Artur Davtyan and Artur Avetisyan, the sports ministry reported on Wednesday.
The Armenian athletes are preparing for the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, in fall, which is a qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Artur Davtyan is an Olympic bronze medalist and the reigning World champion.
