Deputy PMs of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan meet in Moscow
A trilateral working group chaired by the deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan has started a meeing in Moscow.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk’s spokesman, Andrei Matveev, told Interfax on Friday that the group met in accordance with the assignment from the three countries’ leaders, which was given at their meeting in the Russian capital last week.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Moscow on 25 May Thursday for talks hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“An agreement was reached to continue the work after a week, within the framework of the meeting of the deputy prime ministers of the three countries,” the Armenian government said in its readout of the meeting.
