Armenian defense minister, senior Pentagon official discuss regional security
Armenia's Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on Friday held a telephone conversation with U.S. Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Dr. Colin Kahl.
A range of issues related to the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and regional security were discussed, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in its readout of the phone call.
"The process of implementation of the agreements related to the development of the defense cooperation, reached at the discussions with Dr. Kahl, that took place during the U.S. visit of Defense Minister Suren Papikyan in September 2022, was discussed," reads the statement.
