Artsakh reports fresh ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani forces
Artsakh’s military authorities reported a fresh ceasefire breach by Azerbaijani forces last night.
"On June 8, between 2:25 a.m. and 2:35 a.m., the Azerbaijani military violated the ceasefire in the northern section of the line of contact, using firearms,” the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a statement.
No casualties were reported among the Artsakh military personnel.
Russian peacekeepers were reported about the incident.
“The situation on the contact line is relatively stable as of 10։30 a.m. June 8,” reads the statement.
Artsakh also denied Azerbaijan’s false claims that its combat positions in the occupied Shushi region came under fire from Artsakh troops on Thursday morning, as well as the reports that Azerbaijani forces allegedly disrupted military fortifications carried out in the Askeran region.
