Armenian border troops attend CIS meeting in Baku
Baku is today hosting the 86th meeting of the Council of Commanders of Border Troops of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
According to Azerbaijani media reports, the meeting is attended by representatives of the border troops from Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Armenia.
The meeting addresses issues related to the situation on the external borders of the CIS member states, as well as preparation and conduct of joint special border operations.
