Artsakh reports fresh ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan
Artsakh’s military authorities reported a fresh ceasefire breach by Azerbaijani forces on Thursday.
"On June 8, between 5:35pm and 8:30pm, the Azerbaijani military violated the ceasefire in the eastern and northern sections of the line of contact, using firearms,” the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
Azerbaijani troops fired at a tractor working on a farm in the village of Karvin at around 6։20pm, it said.
No casualties were reported.
The command of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh was informed about the incient.
"As of 9am June 9, the situation on the contact line is relatively stable," the Defense Ministry added.
