Two foreign nationals injured by Azeri fire in Yeraskh in moderate condition
The two foreign nationals wounded by Azerbaijani fire in the Armenian border village of Yeraskh are in moderate condition and are receiving necessary medical care, the Armenian Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.
The men suffered injuries after a smelting plant under construction in Yeraskh came under fire from Azerbaijani forces on Wednesday morning.
They were taken to the Ararat Medical Center. Its director, Arayik Sardaryan, has told Panorama.am the wounded foreigners are Indian nationals.
They have sustained shrapnel injuries in the chest and the shoulder, respectively.
“They are in moderate condition and are undergoing surgery," Sardaryan said, assuring the wounded men are out of danger.
