Armenia denies Azerbaijan's false reports
The Armenian Defense Ministry has rejected Azerbaijan’s fresh accusations of a ceasefire violation by its forces on Saturday, stressing Baku is preparing the ground for new provocation against Armenia.
“The statement by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry that the Armenian armed forces allegedly opened fire on the Azerbaijani combat positions in the eastern and southeastern parts of the border zone between 2:30 p.m. and 2:55 p.m. is disinformation,” the ministry said in a statement.
“The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry is making an information basis for another provocation,” it added.
Earlier on Saturday, Azerbaijan falsely accused the Armenian military of firing at its army positions in the eastern and southeastern border sections.
