Armenian military delegation visits Germany
At the invitation of General Darryl Williams, the commander of the U.S. Army Europe and Africa, an Armenian military delegation led by Major General Edward Asryan, the chief of the army’s General Staff and first deputy defense minister, has paid a working visit to Germany to participate in the annual conference of the European armies.
On the first day of the visit, Asryan held an informal meeting with U.S. Army Chief of Staff, General James McConville. The Armenian army chief is set to meet with his European partners in the margins of the conference, the Defense Ministry of Armenia reported on Thursday.
Separately, Asryan met with Major General Stephen Maranian, Commanding General of the 56th Artillery Command of the U.S. Army Europe and Africa.
