Artsakh reports more truce violations by Azerbaijan
Artsakh’s Defense Ministry reported more ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani forces on Thursday.
Azeri troops opened gunfire on Artsakh army positions in the Askeran, Martuni and Martakert regions between 12:50 a.m. and 10:45 p.m., leaving one Armenian soldier wounded.
Later on Thursday afternoon, a farmer using his tractor in a field in the village of Chartar came under fire from nearby Azerbaijani positions.
The Artsakh authorities reported the ceasefire violation to the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops.
“As of 9:30 a.m. June 23, the situation on the line of contact is relatively stable,” the Defense Ministry said.
