14 more patients transferred from Artsakh to Armenia
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has facilitated the transfer of 14 severely ill patients from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia, the Artsakh Ministry of Health reported.
The patients were transported to specialized medical facilities in Armenia on Friday, the ministry said in a statement.
7 other patients, who have completed their treatment in Armenia, are expected to return home later on Friday.
34 children are undergoing treatment in the Arevik Medical Center. Three of them are in neonatal and intensive care.
85 adult patients, including 7 critically ill, are in the Republican Medical Center.
The Red Cross resumed medical evacuations from Artsakh to Armenia on Sunday, ten days after they were blocked by Baku.
June 28 marked the 200th day that the people of Artsakh have been living under Azerbaijan's unlawful blockade.
