MP: Azerbaijan trying to deprive Artsakh of food security
Azerbaijan seeks to deprive the Artsakh Armenians of food security by constantly firing at farmers carrying out agricultural work there, MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction said on Friday.
"In order to carry out ethnic cleansing in Artsakh and to make the impact of the blockade more severe, Azerbaijan is constantly firing at the Artsakh people carrying out agricultural work,” he wrote on Facebook.
“The primary goal of Azerbaijan is to prevent people from solving at least the basic problems of food security using domestic resources under total blockade.
“Azerbaijan is upset that its grave crimes committed against people do not produce the desired results and is trying to expand the list of its immoral actions,” the deputy said.
