Armenia to host autumn meeting of OSCE PA
The autumn meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA) will take place in Yerevan, Armenia.
The decision was made by the Standing Committee of the Assembly during the annual session of the OSCE PA in Vancouver, Canada, on June 30, the Armenian parliament's press office reported.
Bringing together 323 parliamentarians from across the 57-nation OSCE region, including Europe, Asia and North America, the OSCE PA provides a forum for parliamentary dialogue, leads election observation missions, and strengthens international co-operation to uphold commitments on political, security, economic, environmental and human rights issues.
