Artsakh presidential spox refuses to comment on letter to Putin
Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan’s spokesperson, Lusine Avanesyan, has declined to confirm or deny the reports that the country’s authorities have sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In a social media post earlier on Sunday, Tigran Petrosyan, Chairman of the Anti-Crisis Council of Artsakh, said the Artsakh leadership had submitted a letter to the Russian leader, detailing the critical situation in the country and calling for concrete action to deal with it.
“No comment,” Avanesyan said, rejecting Panorama.am’s request to say whether such a letter had been sent to Putin and to unveil the Russian leader's possible response to it.
