Azerbaijan's Aliyev, Turkish FM discuss normalization process with Armenia
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss, among other things, the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to Azerbaijani media repots, Aliyev spoke about the ongoing processes to “ensure sustainable peace and security” in the South Caucasus.
“They emphasized that friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are developing successfully in all areas on the basis of strategic alliance and the principle of “one nation, two states”, adding that the two countries always stand by each other,” the reports said.
