Armenian, Russian deputy FMs discuss situation in Lachin Corridor
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin spoke with his Armenian counterpart Vahe Gevorgyan on Friday, July 7, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The officials discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and global issues.
“The sides thoroughly discussed the situation in the Lachin Corridor and Nagorno-Karabakh in general and reviewed the progress towards drafting a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” the Foreign Ministry of Russia said in a statement.
They stressed the need to step up the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization efforts in line with the trilateral agreements between their leaders reached in 2020-2022.
