Armenia wins 5 medals at International Mathematical Olympiad
Armenian school students have earned 5 medals, including 2 silver and 3 bronze, at the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad held in Chiba, Japan, on July 2-13.
PhysMath School students Kamo Mirakyan and Areg Mkrtchyan won silver medals, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports reported on Wednesday.
Vahan Baghdasaryan from PhysMath School, Hamlet Petrosyan and Aghasi Darbinyan, both from Quantum College, bagged bronze medals.
PhysMath School student Tsovak Yegoryan was handed over a commendation letter at the Mathematical Olympiad.
Armenia had claimed 2 silver and 4 bronze medals at the 63rd International Mathematical Olympiad held online.
