Pashinyan holds phone call with Uzbek president
Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday had a telephone conversation with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and congratulated him on his re-election as the head of the country, the Armenian premier's office reported.
"The Prime Minister wished Mr. Mirziyoyev success in his responsible position for the further development of Uzbekistan," the office said in its readout of the phone call.
"The leaders of the two countries discussed issues related to the further development of Armenian-Uzbek relations and the steps planned in that direction," it added.
