Jazz concert for kids to be held in Yerevan
Yerevan’s Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall will host a jazz concert for children on July 22 as part of the JAZZ FOR KIDS project initiated by jazz musicians Karen Grigoryan and Rafael Petrosyan.
The project is aimed at introducing children to the world of jazz music at an early age through an engaging and interactive experience.
“What could capture the attention of kids better than a cartoon? On July 22, at 7 p.m., the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall will provide both youngsters and adults with a unique opportunity to enjoy live music from their favorite cartoons, performed by talented jazz musicians,” organizers said.
Performing the concert are Anna Kostanyan (vocals), Arthur Aleq (vocals), Davit Melkonyan (saxophone), Tigran Harutyunyan (trumpet), Karen Grigoryan (piano, arrangements), Rafael Petrosyan (piano), Mikhail Fominykh (double bass) and Arman Mnatsakanyan (percussion instruments).
The live musical performance will be accompanied by animated projections of the cartoons on a large screen.
