Armenian MP insists on Artsakh's right to self-determination
MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction claims Azerbaijan’s seven-month-long blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) confirms that the recognition of Artsakh’s right to self-determination is an absolute must.
"The blockade has already started to turn into a catastrophe,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday. “The Armenian authorities continue recognizing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, while the mediators are interested in Artsakh primarily as a stage of struggle for influence.”
“Azerbaijan's policy in Artsakh confirms the simple truth that the settlement of the Artsakh issue must be based exclusively on the realization of its right to self-determination,” Abrahamyan said.
