Azerbaijani forces fire at farmers in Artsakh
Farmers in Artsakh’s Nerkin Sznek village came under Azerbaijani fire on Saturday morning, the Artsakh Defense Ministry reported.
"On July 15, at around 9:50 a.m., Azerbaijani forces opened fire from small arms on the civilians doing agricultural work in the Nerkin Sznek community of the Artsakh Republic’s Askeran region,” the ministry said in a statement, dismissing Azerbaijan’s claims that its troops stopped fortification work allegedly carried out by Artsakh’s defense forces.
The command of the Russian peacekeeping troops stationed in Artsakh was reported on the incident.
