Pashinyan hands Artsakh leader's letter to EU's Michel
Nikol Pashinyan has passed Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan’s letter to European Council President Charles Michel, the Armenian premier’s spokesperson, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, said on Saturday.
“At the request of the Nagorno-Karabakh president, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has handed his letter to President of the European Council Charles Michel,” she said in a statement.
The letter calls for urgent international efforts to break Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of Artsakh and put an end to the systematic mass crimes and acts of terrorism against the people of Artsakh.
Michel is set to host fresh peace talks between the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders in Brussels later on Saturday.
