Artsakh Armenians see no future within dictatorial Azerbaijan, protester says
The Armenians of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) see no future within dictatorial and racist Azerbaijan, a woman said at a protest against the Azerbaijani blockade outside the UN Office in Yerevan on Monday.
The protest included displaced residents of Artsakh, including children.
The protesting woman states that Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor, the sole road linking Artsakh to Armenia, is aimed at evicting Armenians from their homeland.
"Azerbaijan certainly wants Artsakh without Armenians, and if the Armenians refuse to leave, Azerbaijan will try to solve the issue by military means or will take all possible measures, creating desperate conditions for the people of Artsakh,” she said.
She claims Azerbaijan seeks a new war to gain control over all of Artsakh without Armenians, calling out the international community for its failure to take strong action to stop Azerbaijan’s leadership.
