Artsakh police report four ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan in one week
Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) four times in the past week, targeting civilians carrying out agricultural work, the Artsakh police reported on Monday.
The ceasefire violations were reported by residents of the Shahumyan, Martuni and Askeran regions on July 11, 13, 14 and 15.
In one incident, farmers harvesting crops in the Amaras valley came under cross-border fire from nearby Azerbaijani army positions.
Azeri troops fired mortar shells at agricultural lands in the village of Machkalashen in another ceasefire violation.
