Mother of young child joins protests against Artsakh blockade
Saida Poghosyan, a woman who was displaced from Artsakh and resettled in Armenia in the wake of the 2020 war, has joined the ongoing rallies in support of Artsakh held in Yerevan.
Speaking to Panorama.am in Yerevan’s central Liberty Square a few days ago, she stressed the Artsakh Armenians were on the “verge of despair” and called for efforts to raise awareness of their plight.
She joined a protest staged outside the French Embassy in Yerevan along with several other women. Saida also took her young child to the protest.
The woman urges all to join them in attracting the international community’s attention to the children of Artsakh, who have been living under Azerbaijan's brutal blockade for 219 days now.
